Cruising in his Jeep!

Jeremiah has figured out that he can move in his jeep!  It is so cute!  He likes to hop along, but he is starting to get the hang of "walking" in his Jeep walker!

New rides!

We've been busy the last couple of days!  Well, I always feel like we are busy, but the last couple of days have been non-stop!  Rin and I both took a couple hours off work on Friday, and we bought a new minivan!  That's right, I'm now a minivan mom!  Honestly, I always said I would never have a van, but after having Jeremiah I really wanted something with more space and vans are SO practical!  We've only had it for a day, but so far we love it!
Jeremiah's first time in the new van!
Ready to go!
When the weather is nice, we try to enjoy it!  The last couple of weeks, we've been talking about finding a park with swings for Jeremiah.  I had a feeling he would love to swing, and I was right!  Our neighborhood play area doesn't have swings, and most of the local parks don't have them either!  I guess it is too much a liability and too much upkeep, but I remembered that there was a swing in Rin's parents neighborhood!  We all hopped in the new van and enjoyed Jeremiah's first experience in a swing!
Very first time swinging!
I love that he would put his hands out and enjoy the ride!

Now I want a swing set!  I just need to find one that is reasonably priced, so Rin will be okay with it!!

Teeth!

On Monday, April 1, Jeremiah and I went on a walk (Rin had a meeting).  It was so nice outside, so I decided to sit out back on the swing and read to Jeremiah.  We were hanging out, and I decided to feel his gums, something I do this just about every day, and I felt two little bottom teeth!  Jeremiah has been drooling a lot since he was 4 months old, so I always thought he was teething, but he never seemed to feel too uncomfortable.  The first picture is right before I discovered he had two little teeth!  He didn't want me to "see" them long enough to take a picture, so I waited until Rin got home and Jeremiah was asleep!

Enjoying a beautiful evening outside on the swing!  Right before I discovered Jeremiah's new teeth!
Waiting for Daddy to get home - enjoying the bath!
Sound asleep, so I could get a picture of his teeth!  Look closely - they both broke through the gums!
So far, he is an excellent teether!  I am one proud Mommy!

Jeremiah's First Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend!  We celebrated the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and teaching Jeremiah about this special day.  I have to admit, I tend to over-do-it for holidays, but I get so excited for Jeremiah to experience everything!  We started out our weekend with a fun egg hunt at the Taste of Forsyth at the Cumming Fairgrounds.  We had a fabulous time, and I think it will become a tradition to attend each year!

Jeremiah was worn out after the egg hunt!
Once we left the Cumming Fairgrounds, we went to The Avenue in search of the Easter Bunny!  We found him, and we were so excited, because their wasn't a line!  For the first time ever, Jeremiah showed that he was scared of something - the Easter Bunny!  He looked at him, let out a little scream, and buried his head in my chest!  About a minute later, he had warmed up to the Easter Bunny, and he wanted to "pet" him!

On Easter morning, we enjoyed all of our Easter goodies, went to church, and had a delicious dinner and Grandma and Poppy's!  Jeremiah had 4 Easter baskets!  He is one blessed baby!  He received spring clothes, a soft lamb, books, a couple froggy toys, a beach bag with his name on it, a towel with his name on it, a bathing suit, a couple bunnies, sand toys, Mickey Mouse rattle and lovie, and a sock monkey toy!  Out of everything, the plastic eggs are his favorite!

Easter pajamas!
Our crazy Easter table!  Mommy and Daddy received some goodies too!
Spending some time remembering Jonathon after church.

Jeremiah went straight for Mickey!
Checking everything out!
We had a very blessed day, and we are so thankful that Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected.  He paid the ultimate penalty for our sins, so we may all have eternal life.  We are so blessed!  Happy Easter!!
