Happy One Month Birthday Jeremiah!
What an amazing month it has been! Jeremiah has brought so much joy to everyone we know! I cherish every moment with him, and we are having so much fun! Watch him grow during the first month!
Here are some details at one month:
Weight:
At birth, you weighed 5 lbs 10 oz.
When you left the hospital, you weighed 5 lbs 6 oz.
At your one week weight check, you were up to 5 lbs 7 oz.
At two weeks, you were 5 lbs 15 oz.
At three weeks, you were 6 lbs 10 oz.
At your one month check up, you weighed 8 lbs 2 oz!! This put you in the 14th percentile for weight!
Height:
At birth, you were 19 inches long!
At your one week check, you were still 19 inches long.
At one month, you were 20 3/4 inches long! This put you in the 22 percentile for height!
Clothing Size:
You are still in newborn clothing - actually, newborn clothing is starting to fit! Most onesies fit well, but some of the pants are still too big!
Diaper Size:
Newborn diapers, and Pampers Swaddlers are our favorite - they fit just right!
Feeding:
You like to eat! You still eat every 2-3 hours, but usually have one long stretch (4-5 hours) at night.
Hair/Eyes:
Ahh... the mystery! Your hair is kind of a dark blonde color - I'm anxious to see how it turns out! You still have a fair amount of hair on the back of your head, but it is pretty thin on top! Your eyes are turning from a grey to a dark blue!
Sleep:
You like to sleep, but you also like to eat! You do a great job of going back to sleep after eating. You sleep well at night, and nap between meals during the day. Your favorite time is in the morning and evening.
Fun!
You have brought so much joy to our lives, and everything is fun with you! You enjoy your play mat, and your "friends" in your bassinet (Mr. Elephant and Mr. Lion). You also enjoy your bouncy seat, as long as I am bouncing it for you! You also enjoy your terriers - Baus, Brew, and Annabelle! They love you! You also like us to sing to you, and you are becoming more and more alert everyday!
Life is just amazing with you in it! This past month has been the best, and I look forward to the future!
