3 Months Old!

You are three months old, and every day is more fun than the last.  I am so proud of everything you do!  Time is definitely flying by, and I am soaking up every moment!

This month you celebrated your first Thanksgiving, and you met Santa and Mrs. Claus!  We are all excited about spending the holidays with you - you make everything so much fun!!

Weight:
At your three months, I think you are about 12 pounds!  This is me weighing you at home, so I could be off a little.

Height:
I'm honestly not sure, since we didn't have a doctor appointment this month.  I'd guess around 24 inches, as I think you had a little growth spurt!

Clothing Size:
You wear 0-3 month clothes and sleepers.  I pulled all of the newborn clothes out of your closet and dresser this month :(

Diaper Size:
Size one diapers.  Pampers are still our favorite!  We have some Huggies that are size 1-2, and I've started using some of those too!

Feeding:
You eat every 3-4 hours during the day, with an occasional long stretch.  At night, you go about 8-9 hours between feedings.

Hair/Eyes:
Your hair is kind of a dark blonde/reddish color.  Honestly, your hair is a mystery to me.  I look at your sweet little face and hair in amazement.  You are just perfect, and I wonder what color your hair will turn out to be.  Your eyes are a very dark blue.  You are so handsome!

Sleep:
You LOVE your sleep, and this makes Mommy very happy.  You go anywhere for 7-9 hours of straight sleep each night!

Fun:
You are so much fun!  I can have fun just staring at you, but over the last month you've become very interactive.  You love to be talked to!  Your favorite toy this month is Mr. Froggy.  This is a toy Nana bought for you before you were born - he is very long and crinkles and squeaks!  I told Nana this is your favorite toy, and she told me it is a dog toy!!  This made us all laugh, and luckily the dogs haven't figured out it is a dog toy!  At three months you talk up a storm, smile, coo, ahhh, kick your legs, and "stand up"!  You are amazing and watching your grow and learn is so much fun.  Sometimes, I just look at you with tears in my eyes - I am in awe of how perfect you are.  You are an amazing gift from God, and I am so thankful you are mine!

Here are some pictures from the past month. I may be partial, but I think you are the most gorgeous baby ever!

A Sweet Boy & His Terriers

While I was pregnant, I must admit that I was a little scared about how the terriers (our 3 Boston Terriers) would react when we brought Jeremiah home.  I felt much better when Tina and Drew visited with Tristan, and I could see that everything would be okay.  Annabelle is very nurturing and motherly - she LOVES babies.  Here are some pictures of me feeding Tristan while I was pregnant with Jeremiah.

Annabelle just wanted to watch Tristan.
As you can see, she was very happy with Tristan.  I think she was excited about her brother coming!
While I was in the hospital, my mom brought one of Jeremiah's hospital blankets home for the terriers to smell.  They seemed to get used to his smell quickly, as they did great once we were home!  This is one of my favorite pictures - I can't believe we have such an awesome picture with all 3 terriers and Jeremiah (thanks to our awesome photographer)!!

Annabelle is definitely the little girl.  She is so nurturing and motherly.  She likes to walk up to Jeremiah and give him one little kiss - just to know that he is okay. She always needs to know where Jeremiah is, and most of the time she wants to be close to him.

Brew is such a gentle old man.  He will let Jeremiah cuddle with him, and he likes to "hang out" with him.  While I'm in the shower or getting ready for the day, Brew will just come and sit by Jeremiah - it is so sweet.

Baus - well, Baus is Baus - He is coming around and letting Jeremiah cuddle with him more often.  He has always been good around Jeremiah, but he usually keeps his distance. I think he has realized that Jeremiah is here to stay, so he is showing more interest in him.

Surprisingly, the terriers haven't messed with any of Jeremiah's toys.  It amazes me that they seem to know the difference between their toys and his.  The only toys that they (Baus) get a little confused about are the bath toys - I must admit they resemble terrier toys!  I am thrilled that our growing family gets along so well!  Before we know it, Jeremiah will be chasing the terriers around!
